Age Limit

Students must turn five years old by September 1st to enroll in kindergarten. Twelfth graders must be under the age of eighteen if they have been out of school for some time.

Method will admit a student to Kindergarten at the beginning of a school year or at any later time in the same year if the child will have his/her fifth birthday by- September 1st of the school year. State law requires a child to be five years of age by September 1st to start Kindergarten. A student must be aged six by September 1st (or have completed one year of Kindergarten) to start the first grade. Students enrolling in high school must be 17 years of age or younger. Any student enrolling at over the age of 17 must not have a gap in enrollment from their current school to Method.
