How to Collect Work Samples and Attendance

Work samples are the foundation of our attendance reporting. Work samples verify that a student is indeed working and attending Method Schools.

Work samples are the foundation of our attendance reporting. Work samples verify that a student is indeed working and attending Method Schools. Homeroom teachers are responsible for collecting work samples. Each learning period, homeroom teachers are responsible for collecting: 2 work samples per learning period per homeroom student.
Work samples are due one week after each learning period ends.
To collect work samples, you need FireShot downloaded and added to Google Chrome
How to Collect Work Samples
 
Work Sample file names should follow this syntax:
"student first initial last name_class name_work sample #_mm.dd.yy"
An example is "MTabert_ELA8_1_09.09.19"
How to Upload Work Samples and Collect Attendance
Once you have work samples, you may now collect attendance.
 
When a full set of work samples are complete, you can collect attendance for the rest of the LP.
If you are unable to collect a full set of work samples, it is per the teacher's professional discretion and opinion to determine what is a justifiable amount of attendance that can be collected for a student. Any student that you cannot collect a full set of work samples should be under evaluation for Student Success Team referral.
 
If a student withdraws prior to the end of the LP, it is the homeroom teacher's responsibility to mark a student not enrolled from the last day the student attended until the end of the LP.
