My name is Nicole McLain and I've been with Method since the summer of 2016. I began as an instructional aide and now work with the counseling and enrollment team. I graduated from Cal Baptist University in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Psychology. In 2010, I lived abroad in Salamanca, Spain; I learned the Castilian language and focused on neuropsychology. When I am not working, you can find me mountain biking—I am also a mountain bike coach for Method. Every weekend I am spending time with my significant other and his two amazing children. We are always up for new adventures and wherever the day takes us.

I am originally from Los Angeles, California where I grew up with my three younger siblings. I moved to San Diego to attend Point Loma Nazarene University and had the opportunity to play soccer and study abroad in the Dominican Republic. After PLNU I went to grad school at UCSD to study Spanish Linguistics. Upon graduating from UCSD I started working as a medical and legal interpreter but my heart was always in education. After two years of interpreting I went back to CSUSB to complete my teaching credential and started teaching Spanish in the Palm Springs area as well as coaching soccer and track! I love teaching and coaching and in my free time I run with my dog, surf, and play soccer! I enjoy traveling to a different Spanish speaking country each summer, and learning something new to share with my students and colleagues!

Originally from Escondido, I moved just up the road to Temecula in 2012. A love for languages inspired me to earn my Bachelor’s in Linguistics from UC San Diego, and I later earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from National University. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, golfing, and playing outside with my son and our dog, Leroy. I love traveling somewhere new with my son every year, and often choose our next adventure by throwing a dart at a map!
